Pristine Pools understands the importance of proper water balance and its effects on the equipment and the pool surface. It is much easier to prevent a problem than it is to fix one. It is also extremely important that all pools are kept in proper balance to maintain a safe, clean and comfortable pool. Poor water balance problems are the #1 reason for commercial pool closure. Pristine Pools will perform a vigorous ten point water test at every maintenance visit and balance the chemicals as needed to prevent any problems or closure. Pristine Pools maintenance program includes the submission of weekly State required water samples. The ten point water test will test for the following:
- Free available chlorine
- Combined available chlorine
- Total available chlorine
- Bromine (if applicable)
- pH
- Total alkalinity
- Cynauric acid
- Calcium hardness
- Copper
- Iron
